Illegal Alien Arrested In Carter County For Child Sexual Exploitation

A Mexican national is now in custody in Carter County after he was arrested for sexual exploitation of a child.

30-year-old Pablo Altamirano Rodriguez was arrested in Elizabethton on Sunday, August 2, after police served a search warrant at his residence on Cedar Grove Road.

The search warrant was obtained after police received a report on July 31 that a live stream had been broadcast on social media showing a man sexually exploiting a minor.

An investigation of the broadcast led police to identify Rodriguez. He was arrested and charged with especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

He is being held at the Carter County Detention Center without bond as he awaits a court date.

Davidson County police also arrested the following illegal aliens this week:

39-year-old Luis Alberto Aredondo Martinez – arrested August 10 

• Martinez was charged with public intoxication, assault with fear of bodily injury, resisting stop/frisk/halt/arrest/search, and assault of a law enforcement officer. He was booked on a $9000 bond.

29-year-old Diego Zavaleta-Hernandez -arrested August 11

• Zavaleta-Hernandez was charged with possession with intent (cocaine .5G+). He was booked on a $45,000 bond.

Knox County police also arrested the following illegal alien:

32-year-old Luis Miguel Ventura-Moreno – arrested August 10 

• Ventura-Moreno was charged with DUI (first offense), driving without a license, driver to exercise due care, driving on roadways laned for traffic, and implied consent. He was booked on a $10,000 total bond.

Inmate records show that these individuals currently have immigrant detainers and will remain in custody until released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
