While Republicans were able to maintain their supermajority in the state legislature, with several races won by Republicans on slim margins, Democrats made some inroads in the state House, flipping six seats while keeping all others they previously held. State Senate Republicans fared better, losing no seats that are currently Republican-held and preserving the strong hold on the upper chamber.

And despite redistricting in an attempt to sway all nine of Tennessee’s congressional seats Republican, a surprise upset in U.S. House District 4 with a margin of less than 300 votes put the federal delegation in the same position it was in before redistricting, 8 Republican and 1 Democrat.

Below are the results of the state and federal-level races and referendum questions: Governor, U.S. Senate & House, TN Senate & House, and Constitutional Amendments 1, 2, & 3. Uncontested races are not listed. Full election results are available on the Secretary of State website.
