Many claim that Tennessee has banned abortion, but the truth is that abortion is still happening every day in this state and across the nation. The reason is simple: pro-life laws do not treat abortion as murder, nor do they provide equal justice and protection for all human beings. Instead of truly ending abortion, these laws regulate it, allowing mothers to continue killing their children through abortion pills, crossing state lines, and exploiting legal loopholes.
Pro-life leaders and legislators have presented these regulations as victories, convincing many that abortion has ended in Tennessee. But the reality is that while abortion clinics may have shut down, the killing of preborn children has not stopped. Instead, it has moved into private homes, interstate travel, and underground networks that provide women with the means to end the lives of their children without ever setting foot in a facility.
Abortion has not been abolished; it has simply changed forms. As long as the law fails to recognize abortion as murder, it will continue. God does not call us to regulate evil—He calls us to establish justice. Micah 6:8 states, “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Tennessee’s Law Does Not Ban Abortion
After Roe v. Wade was overturned, Tennessee’s Human Life Protection Act went into effect. However, this law does not establish justice for the preborn. Instead, it explicitly exempts mothers from any legal penalties for killing their own children.
Tennessee Code § 39-15-213 states:
“A woman upon whom an abortion is performed or attempted to be performed shall not be prosecuted for violation of, or for conspiracy to violate, this section.”
This means that a mother can seek out an abortion, take abortion pills, or travel out of state to kill her child, and she will face no legal consequences for her actions.
If a woman hires someone to kill her born child, she is charged with murder. If she personally poisons or suffocates her newborn, she is charged with murder. But if she pays an abortionist or takes abortion pills herself to kill her child in the womb, she is protected under Tennessee law.
A true ban on abortion would establish equal justice. Exodus 20:13 states, “You shall not murder.” A just law would hold every person involved accountable, just as is done in any other homicide case.
Abortion is Still Happening in Tennessee
Despite the claim that abortion has been banned, women in Tennessee are still killing their children every day. Abortion pills can be ordered online and shipped directly to a woman’s home, and these pills can be used through all three trimesters. Women also continue to travel across state lines to obtain abortions. This is happening daily, and in cities like Bristol, Virginia, it is witnessed firsthand as Tennessee women arrive at the clinics to kill their babies.
Through active online outreach, women seeking and obtaining abortion pills are regularly encountered. They are not only given the truth about abortion but are also pleaded with to turn from their sin, offered real help, and most importantly, given the Gospel. Abortion is not just a crime against an innocent child—it is rebellion against God. These women do not need political solutions or mere material assistance. They need to hear the truth, repent, and trust in Jesus Christ.
While politicians claim that pro-life laws are saving lives, the reality is that babies are still being murdered every day in Tennessee under the full protection of the law.
The pro-life movement continues to celebrate weak laws as victories, but children are still being slaughtered daily. Isaiah 5:20 warns, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness.”
The Pro-Life Movement is Keeping Abortion Legal
Not only has the pro-life industry pushed this false “victory” narrative, but it has also actively worked to kill bills of abolition across the country. This year alone, abolition bills that would have fully banned abortion and given preborn children equal protection have been shut down, not by pro-abortion activists, but by pro-life politicians and organizations.
A prime example is Louisiana, where a bill to fully abolish abortion was stopped by pro-life leaders and groups. In 2022, nearly 80 pro-life organizations, including Tennessee Right to Life, signed a letter opposing Louisiana’s abolition bill, stating:
“We state unequivocally that any measure seeking to criminalize or punish women is not pro-life and we stand firmly opposed to such efforts.”
This statement makes one thing clear: The pro-life industry will never support a bill that actually ends abortion because they refuse to hold mothers accountable for killing their own children. Instead, they continue to push regulations that allow abortion to continue under different circumstances.
In some states, Planned Parenthood representatives have remained silent during legislative hearings, allowing pro-life leaders to be the ones actively opposing abolition bills. The very people who claim to fight for the preborn are the ones standing in opposition to laws that would finally provide them with equal protection.
Many Pro-Life People Have Been Deceived
Many well-meaning people who call themselves pro-life have been deceived into believing that abortion has been banned in Tennessee. They have trusted the pro-life movement’s messaging without closely examining what these laws actually do.
The truth is, abortion is still fully legal for any mother who seeks it out, and the pro-life industry is working to ensure that it remains that way.
For five decades, the pro-life movement has regulated abortion rather than abolished it. When true abolition bills are introduced, pro-life politicians and organizations work to oppose them, weaken them, or kill them outright.
This article is not written to attack those who sincerely want abortion to end, but to open their eyes to the truth. The pro-life movement is not the solution—it is part of the problem. Ephesians 5:11 states, “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.”
Will You Stand With Us to Abolish Abortion in Tennessee?
Abortion has not been banned in Tennessee, and it never will be as long as people continue settling for weak regulations instead of demanding true justice.
The only way to end abortion is to treat it as the murder that it is and give equal justice and equal protection to all human beings, from conception. This means:
- Recognizing preborn children as fully human
- Ending all exceptions
- Prosecuting abortion as murder
- Criminalizing anyone who participates in or facilitates the killing of a child—including the mother
The time for compromise is over. Justice demands the total abolition of abortion. Proverbs 31:8 commands, “Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute.” Those who remain silent in the face of this evil are complicit in it.
Will you stand with us in Tennessee and demand the complete abolition of abortion? Will you speak out against the lies of the pro-life industry and call for equal protection for the preborn? Will you be a voice for the voiceless, even when it is unpopular?
The fight against abortion requires bold men and women who will refuse to compromise, proclaim the truth, and not be silenced by politics or fear of man. The church must rise up and demand equal justice for every preborn child.
The time is now. The fight is here. Will you join us?
Contact us, get involved, and take a stand. Together, we will abolish abortion in Tennessee.

“JUSTICE” is about to be served in the “VERY NEAR” future.
Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning,
The same pattern of days described for the world’s beginning,
Is the same pattern described for the world’s end.
Ex 31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
Adam until Abraham, 2000 years
Abraham until Jesus, 2000 years
Jesus until the present, 2000 years
How close are we to the “Seventh day”, let’s let scripture tell us.
Mt 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When “HIS BRANCH” is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, “THIS GENERATION SHALL NOT PASS”, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
70AD that generation didn’t pass.
Mr 13:28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When “HER BRANCH” is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
30 Verily I say unto you, that “THIS GENERATION SHALL NOT PASS”, till all these things be done.
31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Her Branch was Israel rebirth as a nation, 1948.
Scripture say a generation can be 70 or 80 years.
Today the seal is broke open on a prophecy God told Daniel that it would be seal “UNTIL THE TIME OF THE END”.
Yes folks, that’s what “TIME IT IS”, just a little matter of a Rapture and Tribulation before the “Seventh Day” or “Millennia Reign” can start.
I don’t make these predictions, I just point them out ot people.
I’m an active Conservative and reject the idea that a person has to have extremist abortion views to be a Conservative.
I strongly disagree with the views in this article.
You can see from the article that it advocates turning a religious view into law. I’m a Christian and the fact is that in Jesus’ day, the prostitutes had abortions and Jesus didn’t scorn them. Notice that the Bible verses quoted do NOT quote Jesus and are NOT from the Gospels. If you’re a Christian, quote from the Gospels.
In the article, there is NO mention of rape. That tells the story. It sounds like it means that a young girl to young girl who is raped would be FORCED to have the rapist’s baby and if she had an abortion, she would be prosecuted for murder.
I will oppose anyone who proposes a law that bans abortions for rape or incest. Doing that would be evil. EVIL!!!
What’s next? Banning birth control? (birth control prevents conception). A law to protect “sperm”? Sperm is alive – look at it under a magnifying glass.
Don’t try to turn your extremist religious views into law. If Repubs go down this path, we will lose and the Dems will take control again. Stand up to evil.
