Asian Invasion Of Loudon County?

By Van Shaver [5th District Loudon County Commissioner]

There’s been a lot of news lately about the Asian carp invading Tennessee rivers. This story is about a whole different Asian invasion and it’s right here in Loudon County and in the heart of Hotchkiss Valley.

You will remember last year, right at 400 acres of prime agricultural land in the Hotchkiss Valley was sold. The five separate parcels were sold in October. The buyer of the property was Walton Tennessee LLC. Walton paid $4,694,149 for the 398.78 acres.

Walton Tennessee LLC is associated with Walton International, which is associated with Walton Global, all out of Scottsdale, Arizona. A Google search appears to show some Chinese connections.

Last week, the Loudon County Register Of Deeds office received, for recording, 125 deeds at the same time associated with the Walton Tennessee property. The deeds are considered “undivided interest” in the property. It appears all the buyers are from Hong Kong/China.

Walton Tennessee was selling 1,042 of the “undivided interest” in the property for $10,000.00 per share. They apparently have already sold 853 shares so far. Ten were sold for $8,000.00 per share. Some buyers bought one share and one buyer bought 200 shares.

According to the “Declaration Of Covenants, Conditions And Restrictions”, the shares of the “undivided interest” can not be sold in the U.S. or to a U.S. person, page 330, Article B Section B3.

I have to be honest, I have no idea what all this means or what impact this has on the property. It will take someone a lot smarter than me to explain this one. Hopefully a good real-estate attorney can figure this out.

Over the last few months, Loudon City mayor, Jeff Harris, Loudon City manager, Ty Ross and Loudon County Economic Development Agency, EDA, director, Jack Qualls, have been working hard to figure out a way to have the Walton Tennessee property annexed into the city of Loudon so any residential development could be at a much higher density. The county would never allow that to happen but a good question would be, why would Harris, Ross and Qualls think an Asian held development like this would be good for the city of Loudon? Who are they actually working for?

We’ve heard a lot of stories in the media about Communist China buying up large tracts of land near US military and national security bases. I don’t want to be a conspiracy theorist, but as the crow flies, the Walton Tennessee property, which encompasses Black Oak Ridge, one of the highest areas in the county, is less than 10 miles from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Y-12 security complex and about the same from the Air National Guard base at McGee Tyson.

Before somebody screams racism, my concern here has nothing to do with race but everything to do with Communist China, a country that wants to destroy America, getting a toehold in Loudon County. I think Nashville needs to be aware of this.

***Note from The Tennessee Conservative – if the evidence presented by Commissioner Van Shaver checks out, this Hong Kong / China land grab could be in direct violation a Tennessee law that was passed during the last session of the General Assembly and signed into law by Governor Lee, with the law going into effect on July 1st, 2023.

The TN-China Network, located in Chattanooga – gives a list of Chicom-owned companies that do business in TN, mostly Eastern Tennessee. Some of these companies are located relatively close to ORNL. I have vociferously complained to my elected representatives at the state and local level but have not seen them take any action on this national security problem. When I reached out to Lulu Lim (Lin) Copeland, the organizations CEO I received no reply.

And Walton TN just bought a large area of land in a mile of Sequoyah Nuclear plant in Soddy Daisy TN, between Watts Bar and Chattanooga.

This may be a most serious matter.
Suggest that you reach out to our congressional representatives, Representative Tim Burchett and Senator Marsha Blackburn, and ask them for their comments on this issue. I would then suggest that you make public their replies to you. I initially picked up your commentary, one or two months ago, on the Tellico Village Nextdoor net work. And then also noticed the property transfers in the connection dated September 27.

I have no problems with the political representatives of Lenoir City wanting to annex those partials for property tax revenue. I think they’re just doing their job.
The criticism should be level at Governor Lee and our congressional representatives.
    Thank you

This is being done through the Walton, LLC company out of Scottsdale, AZ. They also are doing the same in the Nashville area.
Walton is an ESG business company. ESG is not a good way to do business.
Walton also operates through the EB-5 Immigration Program.
Oak Ridge (the Manhattan Project) is just a bit north.
There could be some concern here.
Maybe the community can have balloon flying on weekends.
For those that wish to know. Not that long ago, an illegal Chinese bio-lab was discovered in Northern California.
This does not reflect upon all Chinese. I have had some great Chinese friends and co-workers.

China around Oak Ridge National Labs and now Sequoyah .. China has been known to be building operative locations around military bases across the US. Now in Hamilton County TN,

    Here is the deal/plan..

The move their 100,000 chinese operatives that came across the border into the key locations of power, defense, etc.. sleeper cells.. then when time is right they are activated and take key infrastructure.

All the criminal useful idiots in our government who think they are getting rich are the ones pushing the trojan horse into the gates. IDIOTS!
