Chattanooga Motorcar Festival Returns This October

The Chattanooga Motorcar Festival will return to the West Village this October for a three-day event, October 15-17.
The three-day event features the premiere of The Pace Grand Prix at the Bend, a Mecum Auction, the Chattanooga Concours d’Elegance, as well as the open road West Village Road Rallye all taking place along the picturesque riverfront in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee. This annual festival features thousands of cars, live concerts, car clubs, street fairs, and food trucks.
The Pace Grand Prix – downtown Chattanooga’s first-ever wheel to wheel race on a circle track will wind its way through the former Alstom manufacturing site, soon to be redeveloped as The Bend.
The Concours d’Elegance juried car show offers attendees the opportunity to admire historic and vintage cars as they compete for coveted trophies.
Evenings will be abuzz with street festivals and the organizers promise “family fun” during the days with local food and live music.

Fifty Plus Foundation, Inc. has partnered with Chattanooga Motorcar Festival to support neuroscience research. This partnership focuses on bringing that support to a local level and back research that will help find a cure for Alzheimer’s.
Funds raised through the festival will benefit CHI Memorial’s Neuroscience Center and the Neuroscience Innovation Foundation. They will work hand in hand to bring advances in neurological medicine forward for the benefit of all. Funds will directly support the creation of a research space by funding equipment and operating suite infrastructure.
There will also be a two-day auction at the Chattanooga Convention Center presented by Mecum Auctions, the world leader of collector car, vintage and antique motorcycle and road art sales. Organizers state there will be over 600 cars in the show.
