The Tennessee Conservative [By Paula Gomes] –
Representative Todd Warner (R-Chapel Hill-District 92) has officially called for the resignation of Lt. Gov. Randy McNally (R-Oak-Ridge-District 5) following McNally’s embarrassing exploits on social media.
In a statement, Warner called McNally’s foibles “the actions of a perverted 80-year-old man looking to fulfill his closeted sexual desires.”
Warner told us, “Numerous members have said he should resign but everyone was afraid to call for his resignation. It’s the right thing to do for Senator McNally to resign. I’m praying for him and his family.”
Warner’s official statement can be viewed below:
Since liberal media sources began reporting on McNally’s “hypocritical” comments and reactions to queer content on Instagram – something seemingly in contrast to his public support of what the left brands “Anti-LGBTQ” laws – McNally has been mocked and even parodied in a Saturday Night Live skit.
Brandon Lewis, founder of The Tennessee Conservative, spoke last week on why McNally should resign, reasons that have everything to do with the Lieutenant Governor’s policies and nothing to do with how he spends his time on social media.
“My beef with Randy McNally is not that I’m looking for an apology because he communicated with, or thumbs upped, or liked, or whatever you want to call it, men in scantily clad outfits of a homosexual persuasion – I don’t care, it makes no difference to me.
But what I do care about is his lack of leadership over the last two and half years when the lockdowns, the forced vaccinations, the forced masking, the shaming and everything else, he should have stood up for his right as an independent branch of government against the governor as he abused his emergency powers for federal money.
And we had whole swathes of Tennesseans who had only one representative during the pandemic, and that was the governor, because the legislature, both Cameron Sexton and Randy McNally abdicated their responsibility as separate coequal branches of government to stand up for you and me. That’s unforgivable. The businesses that went out, the learning loss, the mental anguish, the drug abuse, the suicides, the people that died in hospitals alone, all that could have been prevented if Randy McNally had been a strong, conservative leader but he’s not.
And he’s also got terrible records on social media censorship, he’s got terrible records on illegal immigration, corporate welfare, school choice – the guy’s not a conservative. He’s not. He is a political animal. He is a fossil.
And finally, and like I say, I don’t ever care about personality, but Mr. McNally is no longer with it. He’s just not with it. I have watched him attempt to take questions from constituents in his district about things that I know enough to speak about – he can’t speak about them. He gives wrong answers. He says “I don’t know” about things that should be “I definitely know.” He is there in body but he is not there in mind and we need a strong conservative leader.
So all this stuff – I don’t care about the politics of personality but I do care about the politics of policy and Randy McNally and his policies are terrible and we need to replace him. Not because he’s been an embarrassment to the Republican Party nationwide and this instance has made that the case but because of his policies. We can’t move Tennessee forward with a RINO in charge of the Senate.“

The dirty old pervert needs to go and until he does the Senate is complicit.
Thank you, Brandon, for your bold and necessary statement on Randy McNally! I hope it is as effective with the Senate as it’s been with your readers!
Well said! The Republican party needs to clean up it’s act and start representing the majority conservative constituents.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. The rinos are turning Tennessee blue starting with gov. Lee. With the blue oval city then to convert Chattanooga into a 15 minute city. Do your research on both of these. Nothing but controlling our lives with regulations. Just as bad as the demonrats. We need to do a better job of vetting potential republican candidates to make that they are for the constitution and the Tennessean people. The rinos vote against everything we want and need. Like closed primaries. Time to stand up and vote them out. You can tell who the rinos are by them not speaking out against this perverted and reprobate behavior. Disgusting.
In God we trust not government or man.
Have a blessed day.
I SO AGREE and BILL LEE is just as bad he sent people into the hearing on our GUN RIGHTS, and they said just what BILL LEE told them to say. do not pass a real CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY BILL. HE is not what we thought when we voted for him, and I hope we VOTE him AN THE REST OF rhinos out.
Bill Lee showed why and what he is before this last election… REMEMBER, Speaker of the House Cameron Sexton, who will run for governor in 2 years, “deeply respects” McNally. He is a “nice guy.” So? Watch who supports McNally, watch for the RINOs and do-nothings.
