Crawford Announces Run For Tennessee Senate District 1

Press Release –

Bill Crawford, a life-long McMinn County resident, who has been a law enforcement officer with specialized training for the past 25 years and a State Firearms Instructor, is announcing his candidacy for the office of Tennessee Senate District 1, which includes the counties of Bradley, Meigs, McMinn and Rhea. He will be running on the Republican ticket for the open seat currently held by Mike Bell.

Mr. Crawford voices his desire to serve the public in this capacity based on the need for renewed trust of our citizens in the people who are elected to represent them.  The headlines in news stories over the past three years and the way people have reacted to them have led him, after much prayer and discussion with his wife, Teresa, to make this difficult decision to run for this important position in our Tennessee Government.

He states the following as reasons for running:

•    To restore trust in our government that justice will be served, that laws will be created to protect the citizens of our state from illegal immigrants, from refugees, from Communist agendas, and from our own government.

•    Because I am qualified to fill this position.  My 25 years of experience in law enforcement with the 1500 plus training hours has been focused on solving and preventing criminal activities and on protecting citizens.  It is my inclination and desire to be available and to serve the people.

•    To provide a safe district and a safe state for all our families – yours and mine.  This starts with good laws created by our legislators.  Once introduced, we need State Senators who are willing and able to get them passed.

Crawford’s stand points are Pro-God; Pro-Country; Pro-Life; Pro-Military; Pro-Jobs; Pro-First Responders; and Pro-Gun.

Crawford said, “I pledge always to stand for what is best for our Tennessee conservative way of life.  I will always protect your Constitutional rights and freedoms and our jobs.  I pledge to never support unconstitutional laws or unconstitutional executive orders.  I humbly ask for your help, your support, and your vote on August 4, 2022.”
