Tennessee Conservative News Staff –

New information shows that the number of crimes committed by illegal aliens in Tennessee could be even higher than recently reported as ICE seeks to expand its presence in the state.

The Tennessee District Attorney General Conference recently released its Immigration Report, detailing crimes committed by illegal aliens across the state.

According to the report, a total of 21,648 charges were reported against 11,340 illegal aliens in 2025. As previously reported by The Tennessee Conservative, more than 10% of those crimes were violent in nature.

But those numbers may not truly reflect the extent of criminal activity by illegal aliens.

Stephen Crump, executive director of the Conference, says those numbers are likely lower than the actual totals.

Crump says this is because “we have not had complete uniform reporting across the state, yet. We’re close, and I really want to congratulate the Sheriffs across our state, they have worked with us extremely well to get these numbers.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has already been working to increase its presence in Tennessee, with plans to open two offices in Nashville and another in Memphis.

One of the Nashville offices will be located at 1 Vantage Way in the Metro Center area of North Nashville. The other will be in the Estes Kefauver Federal Building on Broadway.

The Vantage Way office building is owned by Freeman Webb, a Nashville-based realty company that is owned by State Representative Bob Freeman (D-Nashville-D56). Freeman says he was unaware that ICE would be using the office space when the lease agreement was made with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).

GSA also leased office space at 5904 Ridgeway Center Parkway in East Memphis. It was reported by Wired that the location would also serve as space for ICE agents, but the federal agency that would be occupying that location has not been made public at this time.
