The Tennessee Conservative Staff –

A former White County middle school teacher has been charged with three counts of rape of a child after it was alleged that he participated in sexual activities with a minor.

According to District Attorney General Bryant Dunaway, an investigation of 27-year-old Austin Damon Allen was started by the White County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Children’s Services.

Allen, a Cookeville resident, was a seventh-grade social studies teacher and softball and football coach at White County Middle School.

Allen was suspended from his teaching position after the White County Director of Schools was informed of the allegations. He was placed on leave, pending the results of the investigation.

On Friday, October 27, results of the investigation showed that Allen had engaged in sexual acts with a minor.

Allen was arrested in Cookeville with the assistance of the Cookeville Police Department and booked in the White County Jail. The White County Judge Commissioner set his bond at $750,000.

White County Director of Schools Kurt Dronebarger issued a statement on Saturday:

“White County Schools is shocked and deeply saddened by the news surrounding a former middle school teacher, and our thoughts, prayers, and efforts are with the affected children, their families, and our school community. From the initial report, the teacher was suspended, removed from campus, and subsequently had his employment terminated. The school district is fully cooperating with authorities in their investigation and will work diligently to serve our community to navigate the waters in the wake of this deplorable incident. If anyone has information pertaining to this case, please contact the White County Sheriff’s Department. If you or a child are in need of counseling services, please contact the school system. This chapter is not a reflection of our school district and the incredible employees who lovingly serve students each day, and together, we will rebuild the trust and integrity that was damaged by the acts of one individual. As this is an ongoing investigation, the district has no further comment at this time.”

The investigation continues, and it is anticipated that additional charges may be filed.

Anyone with information regarding any other potential victims is asked to call the District Attorney General at 931-528-5015 or the White County Sheriff’s Office at 931-838-2700.

Satan is a counterfeit. He makes things appear to be wonderful and he twists the truth. The Bible says he is the author of lies. Pure and holy love is something God created, but once the fall of man happened, all things that were good got twisted. Love is a great thing, but in today’s world we settle for counterfeits because they satisfy fleshly desires in the moment. The more and more you do them the less they feel wrong almost. This man compromised and little by little with that first initial compromise, a tragic mistake happened. Same goes for the man at Woodland Park Elementary who dressed as a woman and had the awful social media pages. Confusion. The enemy is out to devour us all. I pray for this teacher and this man that is in to this satanic stuff. I pray for a spiritual awakening and for the chains of sexual immorality to be broken in the the name of Jesus. I declare God’s mighty hand of protection over the children.
