Hitmakers To Congregate In Nashville For Country Music Legend Loretta Lynn Memorial Tribute Concert

A bevy of A-list musicians are coming to Nashville the weekend to pay tribute to legendary Country Music artist, Loretta Lynn.

Ms. Loretta passed from this world on October 4th at age 90 leaving behind a vast array of unforgettable songs and an everlasting impact on Country Music and beyond.

Family, friends and longtime fans will gather on Sunday night, October 30th, in Music City at the Grand Ole Opry – a venue that became the spiritual home for a genre that Ms. Loretta helped shape.

The family of Ms. Loretta said, “Our family is so deeply touched by the overwhelming outpouring of love and support since losing our mom. We are amazed at the number of people hoping to attend her memorial on October 30. It was always her request that, in addition to invited guests, some of her fans be able to attend. Truly, you were her friends and she loved you so much!”

The night will be filled with stories and music performed by some that knew her best and appreciated her music the most.

“Today” co-host Jenna Bush Hager will serve as the emcee.

According to a news release, more performers and guests will likely be announced prior to the event.

The show is slated to air LIVE and commercial-free at 6PM Central Time / 7PM Eastern on CMT.

Repeat airings will be at 7PM Central on November 2nd and at 10AM Central on November 6th.

A total of 1,500 free tickets were already distributed to fans on a first-come, first-serve basis.
