The website for Hope Beyond Abortion states:
The vision of Hope Beyond Abortion is to educate, equip, and empower churches everywhere for the mission of protecting preborn image bearers of God. We will do this through street level engagement, working with lawmakers, and providing care for mothers and families who choose life and those who have had an abortion in the past.
Carafem is one of 7 abortion providers in the state.
A bill that would ban abortions in Tennessee and that was placed on the agenda of the calendar for the full House Health Committee on March 23rd has been deferred until the 30th, with the Senate version scheduled to be heard by the Senate Judiciary Committee on March 29th.
However, some Republicans in the Tennessee Senate have voiced a lack of support for the legislation.
