The Tennessee Highway Patrol recently identified illegal immigrants in Charleston, Tennessee.

These individuals, mostly adult males, illegally crossed the border around Eagle Pass, Texas.

They were spotted in Bradley County about two weeks ago, waiting to be picked up and transported somewhere else, carrying backpacks, bags, and cellphones.

“This is not just videos online. This is really happening in our state,” wrote Consultant and Conservative Republican Campaign Manager, Erik Wiatr. “America and Tennessee should be focusing on helping our veterans, homeless, & working poor. Instead Democrats are helping people from other nations who are here illegally.”

According to a recent complaint filed by the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the state is seeing significant costs associated with the “massive inflow of illegal immigration.”

“New arrivals of noncitizens greatly strain state and local resources in areas ranging from public education, to healthcare, to infrastructure and housing—a phenomenon prompting ever-growing concern from local officials,” reads the complaint.

“Public safety risks also abound, as many illegal immigrants entering communities have backgrounds of committing violent, gang-related, or drug-related offenses,” the document continues.

The complaint filing was announced last week and raises claims under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), stemming from the failure of DHS and ICE to produce documents regarding the release of immigrant detainees into the State of Tennessee.

In 2022, Tennessee learned that ICE planned to transport potentially thousands of single adult noncitizen detainees from ICE detention facilities in Louisiana and release them into Tennessee pending final removal proceedings.

It was also learned that ICE officials had been cooperating with different organizations and municipal employees in Tennessee to carry out this release plan.

As a result of these findings, Tennessee submitted a series of FOIA requests to ICE seeking records and third-party communications about the Biden Administration’s plan and any detainee releases into Tennessee.

ICE never produced any of the requested documents and Tennessee has now filed suit “so that the people of Tennessee can learn the scope of detainee releases and evaluate the resources necessary to respond.”

“Tennesseans have a right to know what the federal government is doing in Tennessee,” stated Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti. “ICE’s rejection of transparency is all the more troubling because of the humanitarian crisis resulting from ICE’s misdirected priorities.”

“No federal official is exempt from public accountability,” Skrmetti noted.

  1. I have no words to describe how mad this makes me. Our government opens the door to these invaders and then pays them to live here.
One more reason we need the 2A now more than ever.

    1. This is just unacceptable. The location this picture was taken is not far from where I live and I know my neighbors are not happy about this. This is not about racism or lack of compassion, this is plain old, dirty politics, and we all know it. Unfortunately, we cannot lash out physically, because then they will have a great reason to blame all of the conservatives, as being, as they like to say “radical extremists “.Governor Lee needs to stand up and become a leader. I know that’s not going to happen because he is nothing but a RINO. Instead, he will just advertise for his national day of prayer, so we all think he is the next best thing to Jesus Christ. I know that’s not true and all the readers of this site also know that is not true. Unfortunately, we are the minority at this point, and the rest of the sheep believe everything that comes out of his mouth.

      1. Has anyone followed up on the eventual destination of this group, OR who is facilitating this illegal internal migration?

  2. Tennessee legislature must defund the in state NGOs facilitating this illegality
Aren’t there a few dozen laws the NGOs are breaking?
