In a series of three articles written by Don Beehler, it is revealed that District 10 incumbent Candidate Eric Welch is endorsed by a “far-left group called Williamson Strong that is connected to the union-affiliated Strong Schools, Strong Communities.”
Beehler states that these “Strong” organizations are all over the nation, and that “they support liberal candidates while pretending to be grassroots parent groups.”
Beehler states that the endorsement of Welch by Williamson Strong is significant because he believes that one of the group’s goals is to “turn Williamson County from red to blue — or at least purple — while flying virtually undetected below radar.”
Further, Beehler also presents evidence that Welch was endorsed in 2014 by the Williamson County Democratic Party and more.
Beehler presents a substantial amount of documentation in his articles to back up all of his claims.

Beehler states that William “Doc” Holladay, who is running as an Independent for District 10, is the “true conservative in this race.”
