Jason Moore Running For District 9 Wilson County Commissioner

The Tennessee Conservative [By Paula Gomes] –

Milton resident Jason Moore is running for a County Commission seat in District 9 of Wilson County. Moore is a business owner of a construction company, New Creations Construction, LLC and a part time farmer raising sheep and goats.

Moore believes in putting God first, pushing back on federal overreach, and closing primaries.

On his GiveSendGo page Moore says, “I believe our country is under assault by the left, and has been for decades. I can see our way of life and our freedoms being attacked practically everywhere I look, even at our local county commission and school board. I am running for county commissioner to bring fiscal conservatism to the office.  I am running to be an outspoken proponent for freedom for all of our residents – freedom from mask and vaccine mandates; freedom from racism and segregation being taught and enforced in our schools; freedom to go where you want, when you want; and freedom from the crushing debt that our current county commission has passed on to every man, woman, and child in this county. I will always fight for your rights, and will never back down from the left.”

Wilson County currently has almost $600 million in debt. Moore says the county needs to cut spending and get out of debt. Moore also stated, “Federal grants have strings, and we should not accept them. They give a small percentage of the total budget, but they want 100% of the control.”

Moore faces off against two other Republican candidates in the primary. If he wins, he will go on to run against two Independent candidates.

Moore is endorsed by the Stand For Tennessee PAC.
