Tennessee Conservative News [By David Seal] –
Knox for Liberty (KFL) has released its much-anticipated voter guide for state and local offices. KFL Chair Tracey Smith announced the upcoming voter guide at a recent meeting.
Multiple candidates for state and local offices addressed the meeting, those included: Justin Cofer (Knox County Seat 10 at-large Commissioner), Elaine Davis (State Rep District 18), Kent Morrell (State Senate District 7), Sherri Garrett (SEC District 5), Martin Ammons (SEC District 6), Barry Beeler (Knox County Commission District 7), Staci Beeler (SEC District 7), & Joey Ruffalo (Farragut Alderman Ward 1).

Smith stressed the importance of researching candidate positions on a variety of issues and urged all registered voters to be engaged with the political and public policy making process. She emphasized that maintaining liberty depends on citizen participation and a well-informed electorate.
From the research conducted by KFL, the following recommendations are made by the group.

“Knox for Liberty observes local political candidates, monitors their votes on important issues, and watches their connections and campaign donors. Candidates and current office holders are invited to our meetings to discuss these issues and answer questions from the public. We provide the guide to the casual voter who may not attend any local meetings or have any knowledge of the candidates and their decision-making history. We have seen the results of electing self-serving candidates with no regard for the voice of the people or the Constitution. Our county is facing a multitude of issues that demand strong conservative leadership to ensure our very existence, freedoms, and way of life.” – said Tracey Smith, Chair, Knox for Liberty
