The Tennessee Conservative [By Paula Gomes] –
LGBTQ supporters who showed up at the Rally to End Child Mutilation in Nashville on Friday screamed expletives and tried to shout down Chloe Cole, an 18-year-old woman who addressed the crowd.
Cole shared her experiences as a trans child within the medical system that enabled her surgical transition to male. Cole has since detransitioned.
Matt Walsh, of the Daily Wire, also spoke at the rally along with a lineup of speakers that included former Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard, Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Robby and Landon Starbuck, and trans man Scott Newgent featured in Walsh’s “What is a Woman?” documentary.
“So, what is the cause that we are here for? It’s very simple. We are here to fulfill one of our most fundamental obligations as Americans. As adults. As human beings. And that is to protect our children. That is why we’re here. If we will not stand up for them, then who will? If it’s not us, then who stands for them? The people out there shouting — they’re not going to stand for the kids. They stand for victimizing and preying upon kids. So it falls to us,” said Walsh. “Now, here’s the fact of the matter: There is — in this state and all across the country — a conspiracy to target and indoctrinate our children into the cult of gender ideology. It’s a cult which fosters delusion and intentionally creates an identity crisis in young, impressionable kids. It’s a cult which convinces them that gender doesn’t exist — that they have no identity. It’s a path to confusion and despair.”
The rally, organized by Walsh, attracted approximately 3,000 people – according to Tennessee State Police – the vast majority of which were in support of ending sex change procedures for children.
“During the Matt Walsh rally on the Tennessee War Memorial Plaza in Nashville, TN, I monitored the event from atop the plaza. From this vantage point, I was able to monitor the crowd of people. The plaza appeared to be at near capacity,” Lt. Bill Miller, public information officer for Tennessee Highway Patrol, told The Daily Wire. “There was no official method in place to count the number of attendees, but I estimate the count to be somewhere around 2,500 to 3,000 people.”
Walsh had hoped to rally 1,000 people at the event aimed at sending a message to state lawmakers and ending “child mutilation, sterilization, and abuse in Tennessee hospitals and beyond.”
In September, Walsh reported on the use of irreversible puberty blockers, cross sex hormones, and surgeries on healthy children at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Walsh has said that “gender-affirming care” is neither affirming nor care and that “trans” children are at the mercy of a destructive ideology led by activists.
During the rally at the State Capitol, counter protestors waving Trans flags screamed at Cole and other speakers expressing their views.
Referring to the LGBTQ supporters in the crowd, Walsh said, “The reason they’re acting this way is because they are losing, and they know it. They’re losing.”
To the counter protestors Walsh continued, “You guys are losing because we’re going to pass this bill, and it’s going to be illegal in this state, that’s going to happen.”

Yep, that’s a prime example of that tolerance and inclusiveness the LGBT is always crowing about. They strongly believes that the loudest axle get the grease. Losers one and all
This the only play the Left knows is shout downs and calling names when somebody disagrees with their agenda! Their Tolerance just goes ONE way!! We need to save our children let the left mutilate themselves and leave the kids out of it.
Thank God for Chloe for speaking the Truth. Wish more kids would listen to her. DS is just using kids for their own agenda and don’t care about them really, just like they don’t care about anyone else, but themselves.
