The Tennessee Conservative [By Jason Vaughn] –
The monthly meeting of the McMinn County Republican Party will feature guest speaker Brandon Lewis, founder of The Tennessee Conservative.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 18th, 2021 at 7:00PM Eastern in the upstairs courtroom of the McMinn County Courthouse.

McMinn County has a rich Conservative history. Here are a few highlights:
-The only debt free county in the state of Tennessee.
-20 years with no increase in property taxes
-The Batte of Athens – this was last time in American history any form of government in the United States was overthrown by force. So technically we are the home of the last American Revolution.
-Home of Henry T Burn whom in 1920 cast the deciding vote to ratify the 19th amendment.
-No Democrat holds an elected position in the county.
