The Tennessee Conservative Staff –
A Memphis middle schooler took a school security guard’s gun and left campus with it on Tuesday.
Memphis Police Department officers were called to Kirby Middle School around 1:20 on Tuesday to investigate a possible theft.
Police say that the school security guard reported that she left her gun in a stall of the girl’s restroom shortly before 11 a.m. She did not realize it was missing until around 12 p.m.
The school’s cameras show that a girl with red braids and black hoodie left the restroom just before 11 a.m., appearing to be hiding something under her hoodie.
She then exited the school with another student.
Kirby Middle School is a public charter school, overseen by Green Dot Public Schools. Jocquell Rodgers, executive director of Green Dot, did not provide comment on the incident.
However, school principal James Johnson sent the following letter out to parents:

Amen. She should be removed immediately and fired. I wonder if the firearm has been recovered. It says the student left the campus. No telling where the weapon will end up. The left will be pushing for more gun control after this incident.
In God we trust not man or government.
Have a blessed day.
Just shows we need more guns in schools (for students to abscond with).
