According to a Monday breakdown from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the Memphis Safe Task Force has made a total of 321 arrests since starting the operation just last week.
45% of these arrests were on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) warrant pickups.

The breakdown of arrests is as follows:
- 99 individuals arrested via warrant pickups
- 82 individuals arrested on ICE warrants
- 41 individuals arrested on gun charges
- 26 individuals arrested on narcotics charges
- 18 individuals arrested for sex offenses
- 1 individual arrested for homicide
The DOJ made an additional 52 arrests but those did not fall under the above categories and were marked as “other.”
The Memphis Safe Task Force, involving multiple state and federal agencies like the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and ICE began on Monday, September 29th.

According to a Monday X post from U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, a total of 73 illegal firearms have been seized over the first week of the operation.
