National Guard troops arrived in Memphis on Wednesday, October 1st.
Bondi has been sharing updates on social media platform X about the task force’s efforts involving several federal and state agencies.
On Wednesday afternoon, White House officials addressed task force officials at the Shelby County Operations Center.
Governor Bill Lee (R-TN) who has said that the deployment will be a “phased approach” over the coming weeks and months, was also in attendance.
