Nashville All-Girls School Pauses Gender Diversity Policy To Admit Boys Who Identify As Girls

We reported on August 11th that a Nashville elite all-girls school, Harpeth Hall, had enacted a new policy to allow applications from individuals who identify as females, regardless of their biological sex.
After significant pushback from the community, the school has decided to “pause” on the enactment of their new ‘Gender Diversity Policy’ that was created by the school’s Board of Trustees at the request of school leadership.
In a letter obtained by Breitbart News, the Board of Trustees stated, “We recognize that this philosophy elicited strong reactions of support and opposition beyond our expectations,” it reads. “We care deeply about your feedback, and we have heard you.”
The letter goes on to state, “Based on the response from our school community, Harpeth Hall is choosing to pause the adoption of the philosophy in order to engage a wider audience in continued discussion.”
Also noted in the letter was a statement that the Board of Trustees will “follow up regarding next steps as we engage our community in the continued discussion about … our all-girls mission at Harpeth Hall.”

Following the initial letter sent out to parents regarding the school’s decision to allow boys who identify as girls into the school, parents showed strong opposition, citing concerns for their daughters’ safety and for the integrity of the elite all-girls’ school that had notable alumni such as actress Reese Witherspoon, singer Amy Grant, and comedian and Grand Ole Opry regular Minnie Pearl.
In the letter sent to parents previously, the school outlined its new ‘Gender Philosophy’ which read, “Harpeth Hall is a girls school. The school culture is unique and distinctly about girls, complete with the use of references to students as girls and young women and the collective use of female pronouns. Any student who identifies as a girl may apply to our school. Students who join and remain at Harpeth Hall do so because our mission as a school for girls resonates with them.”
The document went on to explain that students who express a desire to be identified as male or adopt he/him pronouns will “not be served well” at Harpeth Hall.
Being a Nashville institution since 1865, this new policy came as a shock to Harpeth parents and Tennesseans across the state.
Concerned Tennessee parents commented that Harpeth had become infected with the “Woke Pandemic” and that “Parents and students need to take a hard stand!”
It would appear that the outcry from parents and more likely multiple parents threatening to remove their daughters and the tuition funds that comes with them caught the attention of the school’s board of trustees.
As one individual commented, “Money talks.”
However, one Tennessee Conservative subscriber told us that the school’s woke agenda is far from over and that citizens should not become complacent by this small victory.
The subscriber said, “Our community is very aware of how liberal the school has become. It is a story in itself…a stealth takeover to the point where a teacher who has a pro life license plate was told to remove it. He chose to quit instead. He may have been the last holdout. There are NO conservatives and NO tolerance, with students even receiving lower grades when turning in work with conservative values or viewpoints. Nothing Christian. Very few real minorities. The Spanish teacher is not Hispanic. When challenged they said they could find no qualified applicants!!! There’s more. Anyway, they plan to roll this out for sure.”

“Strong support” for their stance? I’ll call total BS on that. If they did receive strong support they would not be changing their policy. We all know these liars got strong Opposition to their woke agenda. I truly hope no conservative families are allowing their girls to go to this school, if they have options. If you are you are just aiding and abetting the leftist agenda.
There’s so much push to put liberal ideology in our schools and athletic competition. This is against all rational thought. Simple biology men have a penis, testicles, testosterone, larger skeletal structure and greater muscle mass after puberty. Women have a Uterus, ovaries, vaginas, engorged mammary glands, less muscle mass and generally smaller skeletal structure after puberty. I scientifically don’t understand the confusion. Emotional state doesn’t change sex. If I think I’m a bird..can I fly?
Girl Scouts are financially supported by Planned Parenthood. This is only the natural next step of Satan.
Parents. Open the door. Walk away with your daughter, and your money. Putting an evil policy change on hold just isn’t enough. The evil has revealed itself and is still in charge . And, thriving on your money. Lulling you to sleep while they continue the indoctrination of your child and brainwash your child into keeping their secrets. Your daughters deserve better. You have a responsibility to stand up, and use the power of the purse to force them to clean out the school house.
