A Nashville businessman who is paying for newspaper ads calling for Congressman Andy Ogles to resign, fundraised for one of his opponents, reports a source that spoke to The Tennessee Conservative last week.

Bobby Joslin aka Robert Joslin, Jr. personally gave $2,000 to General Brigadier Kurt Winstead during his run for Tennessee’s 5th Congressional seat but was also instrumental in fundraising for his campaign.

“Bobby Joslin was one of Kurt Winstead’s money guys. He was going to be the 5th District King Maker,” said our source. “Joslin is just a sore loser. He gave Democrat leaning Kurt Winstead $2,000. He cannot believe a Conservative Christian candidate like Congressman Andy Ogles could win.”

While the owner of Joslin Signs was not part of Winstead’s campaign in any official capacity, our source told us that he actively fundraised for Winstead.

“I personally know people he got to give money to Kurt Winstead,” stated our source.

Joslin is well known in Nashville’s political circles for his fundraising efforts that span decades and for openly supporting former Democrat Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen.
