Tennessee Conservative News [By Olivia Lupia] –
While the international World Cup soccer tournament usually unties sports lovers through friendly competition, two Nashville individuals found the opposite to be true when they were allegedly stabbed by a 19-year-old illegal alien during a fight that broke out while they were watching a game.

According to the arrest report, suspect Oscar Romero and other individuals including the two victims were watching the match at an apartment in The Grove Brentwood complex when Romero became angry and kicked some beer. A witness and one of the victims reportedly told police that Romero was then asked to leave, but he quickly returned to the scene with a knife.
Upon responding, officers found blood at the scene and one victim still at the apartment while another had taken themselves to the emergency room. One victim was stabbed in the chest, fortunately only resulting in minor injuries, while the other attempted to break up the fight and was slashed on the arm.
Romero fled to the surrounding woods, but officers were able to locate him there and arrest him on multiple felony charges. Davidson County inmate records show he is currently being held in jail on two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The New Orleans ICE office also lodged an immigration detainer with Davidson County and confirmed Romero is an illegal alien from Guatemala. With the detainer, Romero remains ineligible for release pending transfer to ICE custody and will have to submit to required DNA testing.
“It is really tragic. Especially over a soccer game, there is no need for it to come to that kind of thing. It’s really sad. Don’t need someone like that, I guess, around this neighborhood,” said another Grove resident about the incident.
