Some business owners in downtown Nashville are calling for the relocation of street vendors yet again.

While there are current restrictions on where these vendors can set up their businesses, brick and mortar shop owners are asking the city to extend the restricted area as they claim to be receiving complaints from patrons who are bothered by the presence of the street vendors.

The Tennessee Conservative reported on the vendor ban back in 2022, highlighting the fact that many of these vendors rely on their small businesses for their livelihood.

While they cannot operate on lower Broadway, many relocated to other areas in order to keep their businesses alive.

The current complaints are specifically targeting hot dog vendors and CBD vendors.

As reported by Fox17, the issue will be discussed by the Metro Traffic and Parking Commission in the near future.
