The Lawsuit Has Nothing To Do With The Teachers Union Supporting Teachers And Everything To Do With The TEA Being Told What They Can Not Teach. They Do Not Like That Tennessee Law Has Put Them On Notice.

The Local Head Of The Blount County Education Association Is A Plaintiff In The Lawsuit Along With A Local Librarian.

One Challenge Was Filed By A Parent Against Blount County Schools In February. The Parent Who Filed The Complaint Said That The Book Promoted Racism And Anti-Americanism, Stating, “From Cover To Cover, This Author Refers To Americans As Demons, Including Statements Like ‘White Demon,’ ‘Demon Land,’ And ‘the American Devil Means Harm.”
