An illegal alien was arrested in Davidson County in October on both felony and misdemeanor charges involving the promotion of prostitution and unlawful possession of a weapon.

30-year-old Efrain Vincente Luna was arrested on October 17. He is charged with a felony for promoting prostitution, as well as a misdemeanor for possession of a weapon under prohibition.

Luna appeared before Judge Robin Kimbrough-Hayes on October 30. A $70,000 bond was set on the felony charge, plus another $5,000 for the misdemeanor.

Davidson County Sheriff’s Office inmate records show that Luna now has an immigrant detainer hold.

This means that Luna is most likely in the country illegally. He will remain in jail until he is turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
