The Tennessee Conservative Staff –
A man who has already been arrested a number of times is behind bars again in Davidson County after being brought in last week on charges of theft and DUI.
Javier David Gomez-Hidalgo is no stranger to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.
He has multiple charges over the past year, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
Gomez-Hidalgo was last arrested on October 30 for vandalism, theft, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving without a license.
All of those charges were dropped on November 5 except for the DUI, which was changed to a lesser offense of reckless driving. He was given six months of probation.
He currently remains in jail on an immigration detainer hold, meaning he is likely in the country illegally. He will be turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
