Police in Davidson County and Knox County recently arrested illegal aliens on charges including possession of methamphetamine, drag racing, aggravated assault, and more.
Davidson County police arrested the following illegal aliens:
37-year-old Enny Guanchez Santana – arrested July 13
- Santana was charged with being a fugitive from justice. He was booked on a $100,000 bond.
30-year-old Ruben Dario Dario Caal Pop – arrested July 13
- Pop was charged with misdemeanor probation violation and aggravated assault (strangulation). He was convicted and sentenced to 120 days in jail.
32-year-old Edgar V. Aguilar Lopez – arrested July 16
- Lopez was charged with five counts of failure to appear. No information was available on the prior charges. He was booked on a $25,000 bond.
35-year-old Eduardo Montes De Oca Garcia – arrested July 16
- No active charges were listed.
21-year-old Juan Francisco Choc Cac – arrested July 18
- Cac was charged with aggravated assault with intentional serious bodily injury, resisting stop/frisk/halt/arrest/search, and evading arrest. He was booked on a $14,000 bond.
25-year-old Xavier J. Asuaje – arrested July 18
- Asuaje was charged with driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license. He was booked on a $2000 bond.
21-year-old Angel Maurilio Sagui Seb – arrested July 19
- Seb was charged with aggravated assault with intentional serious bodily injury. He was booked on a $40,000 bond.
21-year-old Anderson Moreira Benavides – arrested July 19
- Benavides was charged with drag racing, evading arrest, evading arrest in a motor vehicle, and reckless driving. He was booked on a $14,000 total bond.
38-year-old Jose Gregorio Coral Jaime – arrested July 20
- Jaime was charged with driving under the influence and was convicted. He was booked with a 48-hour sentence.
33-year-old David Ramirez – arrested July 20
- Ramirez was charged with driving under the influence (2nd offense) and driving on a revoked license. He was booked on a $6000 total bond. Ramirez was actually charged with a third DUI in 2023 but was convicted on a lesser charge of reckless driving.
Knox County police arrested the following individuals:
29-year-old Rapalo Castro – arrested July 18
- Castro was charged with domestic assault and was booked on a $5000 bond.
19-year-old Adalberto Prado Zamora – arrested July 20
- Zamora was charged with possession/casual exchange of meth, two counts of simple possession/casual exchange, possession of a weapon with intent to go armed, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, prohibited from possession a firearm under state law, headlights on during inclement weather, and displaying or possessing a cancelled/revoked/suspended/altered driver’s license. He was booked on a $13,000 bond.
31-year-old Glendis Zavala – arrested July 20
- Zavala was charged with theft of property ($10,000-$60,000), driving unregistered vehicle on highway, financial responsibility law, two counts of child restraint (children ages 9-15), driving on roadways laned for traffic, two counts of reckless endangerment, and driving without a license. She was booked on a $200,000 bond.
47-year-old David Ivan Garcia – arrested July 20
- Garcia was charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic, speeding, and driving without a license. He was booked on a $200,000 bond.
34-year-old Avila Avila Vasquez – arrested July 20
- Vasquez was charged with driving without a license and obedience to required traffic control devices. She was booked on a $1000 bond.
26-year-old Jairon Rivera-Tamat – arrested July 20
- Rivera-Tamat was charged with driving without a license, financial responsibility law, DUI (first offense), and registration expired. He was booked on a $5000 bond.
Inmate records show that both of these individuals currently have immigrant detainers and will remain in custody until released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
