Law enforcement officials arrested more illegal aliens in Tennessee on Sunday and Monday, with charges ranging from DUI and evading arrest to aggravated assault and statutory rape.

On July 6, Davidson County police arrested 34-year-old Amed A. Aguilar. Aguilar is charged with DUI-2nd Offense and was held on a $5000 bond. Aguilar has a history of criminal offenses including public intoxication and DUI. He had already been charged with DUI-2nd offense in April and was awaiting a court date of July 10 before he was arrested again on July 6.

37-year-old Juan B. Reyes was also arrested that day and charged with possession/casual exchange of a controlled substance. He was placed in jail on a $5000 bond. His previous record includes being found guilty of altering a title/registration in 2007 and DUI in 2010.

DCSO officer also arrested 18-year-old Samir Amilcar Caceres Orellana on July 7. He is charged with evading arrest with a motor vehicle, reckless driving, no license, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked with a total bond of $75,000. He has no previous criminal history.

In Knoxville, 48-year-old Paulino Velasquez was also arrested on July 6. Velasquez is charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic, evading arrest, no driver’s license, and DUI-1st offense.

More information has also come out about an inmate who was arrested on July 5. 43-year-old Miguel Juan Andres-Pedro was arrested for statutory rape, rape, and two counts of sexual battery by an authority figure.

According to court records, Andres-Pedro admitted to police that he impregnated a 17-year-old girl who he had raised for a majority of her life. The girl, who is now an adult, reported that he would come into her room at night and force her into non-consensual sex. He allegedly admitted to doing so when he was intoxicated and told police that he was, in fact, the father of her child.

Another girl also reported that Andres-Pedro had touched her inappropriately. She stated that he had been responsible for her care since she was in the third grade and the incidents began when she was in seventh grade. Andres-Pedro also admitted to these accusations, again stating that he was intoxicated at the time.

All of these individuals currently have immigration detainers. They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. An ICE detainer most likely means these individuals are in the country illegally.
