Law enforcement officials in Davidson County and Knox County continue to take illegal aliens into custody on charges of committing dangerous crimes.

Davidson County police arrested the following individuals:

22-year-old Meikel Eduardo Santos Sarmiento – arrested October 28

  • There are currently no active charges showing on Sarmient’s inmate information. However, he does have two open cases from an incident occurring on September 1. Sarmient was charged with a boating violation and boating in a no wake zone on that date. He is scheduled to appear in court on November 10 on those charges.

40-year-old Juan Carlos Brizuela Maldonado – arrested October 28

  • Maldonado was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. He was booked on a $5000 bond.

22-year-old Mahammed Siddig Daoud Hamad – arrested October 28

  • Hamad was charged with two counts of felony burglary, possession/casual exchange of a controlled substance, and public intoxication. He was booked on a $16,500 bond.

Knox County police recently arrested the following individuals:

43-year-old Jose Hernandez – arrested October 24

  • Hernandez was charged with aggravated kidnapping and attempted second degree murder. He was booked on a $175,000 total bond.

37-year-old Tomas Gomez Santiago – arrested October 27

  • Santiago was charged with DUI (1st Offense). He was booked on a $2500 bond.

61-year-old Ramiro Reyna – arrested October 27

  • Reyna was charged with aggravated assault. He was booked on a $5000 bond.

24-year-old Daniel Sebastian – arrested October 27

  • Sebastian was charged with public intoxication. He was booked on a $500 bond.

Inmate records show that these individuals all have immigrant detainers.

They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.

  1. Thank the Lord these criminals are being apprehended and removed from the public and their ability to further cause chaos in our state. They can never come here again!
