Illegal aliens accused of criminal offenses continue to be arrested in both Knox and Davidson counties.

25-year-old Dunia Migdaly Sandoval Martinez was arrested in Davidson County on September 10. She was charged with no driver’s license and two counts of felony child neglect of a child under age 8. She was booked with a $10,000 bond.

In Knox County, 39-year-old Carlos Moreno was arrested on September 8 for DUI (First Offense). He was booked on a $2500 bond.

On September 11, 25-year-old Cristian Yonathan Varela-Castro was arrested for DUI (first offense), driving without a license, failure to follow financial responsibility law, driving an unregistered vehicle on the highway, and altering/falsifying/forging a title/plate/assignment. He was booked on an $8500 bond.

Records show that all of these individuals have immigration detainer holds.

They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

An ICE hold means these individuals are most likely in the country illegally.
