Illegal aliens were arrested across the state on charges including DUI and domestic assault, among a number of others.

Davidson County police arrested 49-year-old Sebastian Alberto-Beltran on Monday, October 13. He was charged with driving under the influence, violation of the open container law, leaving the scene of an accident, evading arrest, resisting stop/frisk/halt/arrest/search, no driver’s license, and failure to provide evidence of insurance. He was booked on a $9000 bond. Alberto-Beltran was found guilty on similar charges of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident in 2015.

In Knox County, the following people were also arrested on October 13:

  • Aurora Lopez-Morales (age 32) – immigration detainee
  • Rodiz Mendoza-Cruz (age 35) – charged with domestic assault and interference with emergency calls
  • Giuver Ramirez Lopez (age 24) – charged with aggravated domestic assault
  • Rubelio Lopez (age 24) – charged with DUI (first offense), resisting stop/arrest/search, violation of the open container law, and driving without a license

Inmate records show that all of these individuals now have an immigrant detainer.

They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

An ICE hold most likely means these individuals are in this country illegally.
