Several illegal aliens have been arrested recently by police in Davidson and Knox Counties.

Davidson County police arrested 22-year-old Meikel Eduardo Santos Sarmiento on Wednesday, November 26. He was charged with failure to appear and was booked on a $5000 total bond. He was previously charged with boating in a no wake zone in September.

20-year-old Veronica Domingo Perez was also arrested on November 26 and charged with driving while impaired (age 16-20), driver’s license required, and hold/use altered or false document or plate. She was booked on a $3500 bond.

In Knox County, 38-year-old Tomas Andres was arrested on Monday, November 24. He was charged with public intoxication and aggravated assault and was booked on a $20,500 bond.

38-year-old Jeimy Paz-Guzman was arrested on Thursday, November 27. She was charged with theft of merchandise (shoplifting) and was booked on a $1500 bond.

41-year-old Oscar Donaldo Perdomo-Perez was also arrested on November 27 and charged with DUI: first offense. He was booked on a $1500 bond.

Inmate records show that these individuals have immigrant detainers.

They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
