Davidson and Knox County police arrested illegal aliens over the weekend on charges including assault, DUI, and failure to appear.

Davidson County police arrested 45-year-old Francisco Armando Diaz on Saturday, November 29. He was charged with failure to appear in relation to an indictment of stalking and aggravated assault (strangulation) from 2016. He also has numerous previous charges of no driver’s license, dating back to 2004. He was booked with no bond.

32-year-old Cristhian Acatitlansalas was arrested on Sunday, November 30 on charges of aggravated assault (strangulation), domestic assault with fear of bodily injury, aggravated child abuse (child 9-17), driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, assault/reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, and vandalism ($1000 or less). He was booked on a $36,000 total bond.

In Knox County, 38-year-old Silvia Alfaro-Yanes was arrested on November 30 and charged with DUI: first offense. She was booked on a $1500 bond.

Inmate records show that these individuals have immigrant detainers. They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.

The following illegal aliens were also placed in the Knox County Jail on an immigrant detainer:
Jorge Luis Fuentes – age 31
Marco Lopez-Mendez – age 19
Yoni Ruiz-Lopez – age 28
No criminal charges are currently listed for those individuals.
