Davidson County and Knox County police are keeping busy by hauling more illegal aliens off of Tennessee streets.

32-year-old Javier Lopez-Norales was arrested in Davidson County on June 2 and charged with evading arrest, being a felon in possession of a handgun, and violation of probation. He is currently sentenced to 18 months in jail.

On Tuesday, June 24, two illegal aliens were arrested by DCSO.

34-year-old Oscar Santiago Hernandez was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, tampering with evidence, and driving without a license. He was booked on a $7500 bond.

60-year-old Qaisar Jabbaral Mentifijy was arrested. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear. He was booked on a $25,000 bond.

Two others were arrested on Wednesday, June 25.

32-year-old Edvin Danilo Lajuj Garcis was arrested and charged with driving without a license.

33-year-old Dayana Alejandra Alvarez Mayora was also arrested. She faces charges of possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl and cocaine), vehicle theft, and prostitution. She was booked on a bond of more than $60,000.

In Knox County, several individuals were booked on immigrant detainers with no criminal charges listed:

  • Juan Carlos Apolinar Silva (28)
  • Joseily Evelin Luquez-Albarran (28)
  • Marcus Becerra-Nunez (27)
  • Yarissa Daniella Lopez-Osoria (28)

KPD also arrested Moises Morales Calvo on June 23 for following too closely, driving without a license, and violation of the financial responsibility law.

All of the individuals listed above are booked on ICE detainers. They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. An immigration detainer hold most likely means they are in the country illegally.

  1. They’ve had ample time to self deport and IMHO aren’t due any kind of legal process.
