I’m reaching out to you to invite you to a complementary luncheon event, Awakening the Voice of Truth, on October 27th at Gaylord Golf Links in Nashville.

Our hope is that this one-day conference will be a time of fellowship and preparation as our distinguished panel of speakers helps equip you to serve your congregation more effectively.

I, along with Dr. Raleigh Washington (President, Awakening the Voice of Truth), Brad Dacus (Founder, Pacific Justice Institute), and others will share our expertise and insight in the areas of religious liberty, education, culture, the law, and much more.

Our goal is to help you understand the challenges Tennesseans are facing and give vital tools to successfully confront those challenges with confidence. These highly experienced men and women will share their insights and assessments of current events, and you’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions and dialogue with the panel.

Here in Tennessee, we have all witnessed the ever-expanding intrusions into our schools, homes, places of business, and even into our churches, so it is imperative for pastors to know how to respond wisely and persuasively.

Today, politicians and activists who are intent upon fundamentally altering our culture have highjacked the narrative on every critical issue we face.

These include, but are certainly not limited to, the hyper sexualization of our children, promoting doubt about gender identity, actively circumventing parental rights, as well as the broader issues of secularism and relativism that are drawing young people away from the truth.

Many believe that by cloaking an issue in the mantel of politics somehow removes it from the purview of the Church, where it can no longer be judged or evaluated according to biblical morality. Using this tactic, nothing is off limits, and our children become pawns in the game of social progressivism.

As the extreme elements in our culture exert an ever-stronger hold on society, the church must take the lead in addressing the false narratives so we can then offer the only real solution available.

As community and faith leaders, we will guide the effort to reclaim the culture here in Tennessee. I look forward to seeing you on October 27th for this unique opportunity which I believe will help prepare you for the days ahead.

Thank you for considering attending and it would be a great encouragement to have you be a part of this first event. It is our prayer that it will only be the beginning of providing a critical resource to pastors and other leaders to help engage the culture in the days ahead.
