U.S. Marshals Arrest Tennessee Man Wanted For Arkansas Sex Crimes

Press Release –

Henderson County, TN – The U.S. Marshals (USMS) Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force captured a man wanted for sex crimes in Arkansas.

Cody Grissom, 34, of Lexington, TN, was wanted for Sexual Solicitation, Internet Stalking of a Child, and Use of a Communication Device.

These charges stem from Operation Trident in West Memphis, AR, conducted June 19 – 25 by the USMS Eastern Arkansas Fugitive Task Force, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Arkansas State Police (ASP), and the West Memphis Police Department.

On July 1, Deputy marshals and task force officers tracked Grissom to the Wildersville community of Henderson County and took him into custody.

Tyreece Miller, U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Tennessee said, “We are glad to work with our partners in Arkansas to hold this offender accountable under the law.”

Grissom was transported to the Henderson County Jail and will await the extradition process to Arkansas.
