Let us begin this narrative with the facts. Jeffrey Epstein, financier and convicted felonious sex offenders’ life ended by hanging from his neck in a jail cell alone on August 10th, 2019. Whether his demise was voluntary or enticed doesn’t really matter now. His punishment is to spend eternity residing in the burning pits of hell. Any further trial was over the day his body was planted in the ground. Hanging in his jail cell was not the easy way out. All roads have led to the same destination. Even drainage from the Washington swamp is not enough to extinguish those flames.
It certainly appears that no amount of DOGE savings or tariff dollars can slow down this locomotive. How many dollars has the government spent on this investigative farce to date? I tried most personal means of research at my disposal. No one seems to know. If they do, no one is willing to say or care.
According to recent estimates the Department of Justice has assigned over four hundred attorneys to examine more than 5.2 million files. Not just pages. Those estimates don’t include contracted private firms, researchers or political teams. All able to dip into the taxpayer till. Millions of campaign dollars have been raised on the backs of the victims abused by this serial deviant. You can bet that only a small handful of prosecutions will succeed or lead to any punishment for other “alleged” abusers. A slap on the wrist will probably be the ultimate penalty. Censure or other breaches are a distant possibility but improbable.
In this day of media cycles, retention of facts is short lived. Imaging how many tax dollars are currently being earmarked as “billable hours”? Greedy investigators are orgasmic over the amount of money they can dip their beaks in if they can just get to the front of the soup line in time. Can you say Big Tobacco, Camp Lejune or Big pharma?
The vultures are circling. The carrion? The American taxpayer. The deep pockets of the United States Government and the possible embarrassment of a sitting President help to feed the flames. Politicians from the extremes and a DOJ backed into a corner recognize the bottomless basket of tax dollars vulnerable to squander. A “FREE PRESS” starved to rejuvenate their dimming reputation present an opportunity for another scandal to feed the insatiable appetite of the masses. This means that no one is in a hurry to conclude anything anytime soon. Especially before the mid-term elections. New Day. Another Dollar.
