According to the Knox County GOP, the goal of the event is to raise money and awareness of the “dangerous far-left policies that are slowly invading Knox County.”
“We made a commitment to you, our supporters, that we will do whatever is necessary to take back the City of Knoxville from socialist Democrats who aim to make Knoxville into Portland, Oregon. Enough is enough,” they state.
“We are energized, excited, and organized for 2021 and beyond. We are here to take back the City of Knoxville.” – Chairman, Daniel A. Herrera, Esq.
Before the event, the GOP encourages ticket holders to visit their “campaign booth” section to learn about the announced candidates running for elected office.
