Composed by Margery Hood –

Everyday starts either in Darkness or in Brightness

Everyday changes throughout as our sight

Each moment is different, it can change without notice

Bright should be searched out as

It is a whisper

A small thought

A kindness

An offer

An act of protection

An unbreakable truth

A seeing beyond the surface

The sharpness of mind

Dark should be discarded as

It is confusion like a twisted chain unleashed

A master of manipulation, delusion

A mask of deception

An opposition of light

A wavering of light like a flickering candle

A quicksand of turmoil

We want the light, but hid in the dark

We say we see, but are blind

The laughter of manipulation is loud

Yet we cannot hear the sound

Focus on the key

The key is quite easy for

It is clear like a mountain stream

A precision so narrow it is without fail

It is free, strong, determined like the wind

A spiritual change of heart

Always good beyond good

Oh Almighty God!

You are the life we seek

The strength we search

You will never leave us for You are Truth to honor

Our Source of who we really are
