The Tennessee Conservative [By Olivia Lupia] –
During a press conference last month in Roane County announcing Orano USA’s investment into a multibillion-dollar uranium enrichment facility, Governor Bill Lee fielded a question from a Roane County News reporter asking if Lee is prepared to protect Tennessee from a potential Harris Administration.
Lee’s response was simply, “I will work with whatever administration is in the White House.”
In response to the Governor’s remark, Representative Monty Fritts (R- Kingston- District 32) had strong words of rebuke. “I hope and pray Ms. Harris will be saved, but her policies are all wrong for Tennessee and America. Transgender surgeries, abortion on demand, radical gun control/confiscation, government price controls, open border with illegals voting. How could we in good conscience work with that?”
He continued, “I think I/we office holders am/are obligated by oath of office and loyalty to the Constitution to resist those Marxists at every angle.”
In an email to the Tennessee Conservative, Fritts declared, “It is unconscionable for a Republican governor to assume in a public statement the Dem may win this election.”
Fritts, who is unopposed in his bid for reelection, has reaffirmed his commitment to protecting Tennessee, even if its executive branch fails to do so. “You have my commitment to oppose those leftist ideologies offered by Harris/Walz or any other less than committed to our Republic politician.”
Donald Trump, the strongly favored Presidential candidate in Tennessee, previously labeled Lee as a RINO, and it seems unlikely Lee’ comments will help his largely unfavorable image amongst conservatives. The Governor has not issued any further remarks on the subject to date.

Bill Lee and the other RINOs in our state government must be expelled from public life/office and shunned, at the least, by all moral/decent people. Primary Lee and all the RINOs across the state until we succeed in their removals. Their continued support of leftist democrat crimes and abuses of our civil rights can not be tolerated. These people often masquerade as church members and calling themselves Christian while defending abortion on demand, child sexual mutilations for gender dysphoria, men in women’s sports, open borders, adult and child sexual trafficking and Mexican/CCP drug invasion. People who believe do not support these agendas!… Remember the big liar, Jimmy Carter who lied about his faith all his life. Well , he is about to go to judgement before the Lord who knows the heart of all men. What will Jimmy say to God , if he says “I have not known you” “You did not glorify me with faith but with evil deception you attacked my laws, while professing in my name.” Don’t let these reprehensible RINOs, “Jimmy Carter” us and keep handing over control to the leftist/democrats.
Our biggest problem as I see it is the media.
Until we have honest media we will keep getting no or false information.
Turn off the tv. Deprive them of money, they will have to change there ways.
We can’t primary them out because they keep voting against closing primaries.
Stupid “Republicans” and dimmercraps keep them in there.
This is exactly why the state of TN MUST pass HB2795/SB2775 Sponsored by Rep. Hulsey and Sen. Bowling. It is called Restoring State Sovereignty Through Nullification Act. This legislation will give us 5 different ways in which we can invoke nullification (refusal to comply) when the federal government steps outside of its constitutional lane which it does just about all the time today. Is it any wonder that our supposed Republican Governor and AG are both against this legislation???? Governor Lee has basically said he will obey what the Harris/Walz administration sets out to do and that only proves that he like the AG are constitutionally illiterate. Please help us by supporting our efforts to get this legislation passed in 2025. tncss.substack.com and our website is tncss.weebly.com
