Six years ago this October, we took a leap of faith.
We launched The Tennessee Conservative because Tennessee desperately needed a news source willing to tell conservatives what was REALLY happening in our state government.
And what we found wasn’t pretty.
Republicans were campaigning as conservatives — then going to Nashville and governing very differently.
Special interests, big corporations and the federal government often seemed to have more influence than the Tennesseans who actually elected these people.
We decided somebody needed to tell you the truth.
Six years later, look at what we’ve accomplished together.
We’ve been on the front lines fighting illegal immigration in Tennessee.
We’ve helped kill bad bills before they could become bad laws — and helped push good legislation across the finish line.
We’ve exposed what’s happening in our schools.
We’ve covered warrantless surveillance, homeschooling, medical freedom, government waste and countless other issues that Tennessee’s corporate media either ignores or doesn’t give a rip about.
We’ve supported quality candidates and causes. We’ve helped draw conservative challengers into races. And we’ve given Tennessee voters information they simply weren’t getting anywhere else.
And we’ve done it without selling out to the people we’re supposed to be covering.
That’s important.
Because the only way The Tennessee Conservative can remain truthful, unbought and unafraid is if we’re funded by people like YOU.
We don’t want our marching orders coming from corporate advertisers, political insiders or special interests.
We want to answer to Tennessee conservatives. Period.
That’s why I’m asking for your help right now.
2026 has been an extremely difficult fundraising year for us, and we’re heading toward another legislative session where our reporters need to be watching what’s happening in Nashville every single day.
We need to gather the resources NOW to keep doing this work.
