Tennessee Action Group Press Release –

Join Americans for Prosperity Tennessee as they train the next generation of citizen lobbyists.  You will learn how to effectively communicate with legislators, why effective advocacy is imperative, lobbying 101, the TN legislative process, and much more!

This seminar is to help break down barriers between the citizen, the state, and their politicians by understanding the people and process.

Tennessee Action Group (TAG) has been working with Americans for Prosperity (AFP-TN) for months to get this training seminar hosted locally, and right now, just before the elections, is a great time.

AFP says this is their best speaker line-up this year. Each speaker started as a private citizen wanting to understand and affect the state political arena. So, who are they?

Tori Venable is the Tennessee State Director for AFP, Americans for Prosperity. For over 20 years, Americans for Prosperity Foundation has been educating and training citizens to be advocates for freedom, creating real change at the local, state, and federal levels.

Tori spoke at The Tennessee Conservative’s first annual Freedom Summit in 2021 and TAG was there with its founding 4 members. It got us started! She is an outstanding speaker and we are thrilled she will be there!

Grant Henry is a campaign manager for U.S. Congressman candidate Andy Ogles. He was a lobbyist for 5 years, and is also with Free Tennessee who helps build conservative coalitions with the purpose to affect legislation.

Micah Van Huss was a Tennessee state legislator for 8 years. He brings authoritative practical experience and understands the state and legislator mindset.

Attending this seminar qualifies you to attend AFP’s big “Day on the Hill” at the Tennessee Capitol on Jan 31, 2023, as well as attend subsequent seminars including Citizen Lobbying 101, 102 and 103.

The venue is at the beautiful DelMonaco Winery in Baxter, Tennessee. The seminar is on the second floor with balconies and windows to view the beautiful vista of the winery fields.

The seminar is FREE but interested individuals must register.  Food will be provided, but seating is limited. To register click HERE.
