Former Nashville Teacher Indicted For Sexual Relationship With Student

A former Nashville high school teacher has been indicted on 18 charges related to an alleged sexual relationship with a student.

According to Metro Nashville Police, 32-year-old Kadija Kuykendall was a former English teacher at Whites Creek High School. She was fired in August 2025 after allegedly telling a coworker about her relationship with a student earlier that year.

After a 10-month investigation, Kuykendall was charged with 18 counts including aggravated statutory rape, sexual contact, and sexual battery by an authority figure.

She is currently jailed on a $150,000 bond.
