Would Dave Ramsey Take the Job?

The newly created Federal Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is a great idea, real “outside the box” thinking!
This new federal department, headed by Elon Musk & Vivek Ramaswamy, will develop federal efficiency recommendations for implementation by executive order, or preferably, by the passage of Congressional legislation, their comprehensive review should also recommend full compliance with the 14th amendment with a national dialogue to help stabilize America.
Much of the economic and social power Constitutionally mandated to the states will be returned following years of it having slowly and intrepidly been “stolen” by Washington. I expect “efficiency” recommendations and their implementation to come at “warp-speed”.
I expect the return of power to the states will come in the form of block grants, or through the tax code, money that won’t have to be taken from the states, then funneled back to us in diminished amounts having passed through the greedy hands of political lobbyists and special interest groups. The federal program(s) these monies were intended to be “laundered” through won’t exist anymore. States should not only be prepared for this inevitability.
Tennessee’s Governor Lee should issue an executive order forthwith creating a TN DOGE and not wait for the federal government to act. He should drive over to Franklin and ask DAVE RAMSEY if he’d head the new department. Mr. Ramsey is not just a Great Tennessean, but a renowned financial effectiveness and efficiency expert.
Gov. Lee should ask him to help “MAKE TENNESSEE GREAT AGAIN” since the federal Department of Education seems first on the “chopping block”, TN should begin with its Dept. of Ed.
A TN DOGE could start by:
*Applying “economies of scale” to statewide purchasing of school materials, vehicles, etc.;
*Privatize school bussing mitigating employment issues and other liabilities;
*Adopt a statewide initiative building schools “UP” not “OUT”, smaller schools closer to neighborhoods minimizing purchasing of massive acreage;
*Provide First Aid only at schools ending educations encroachment into medicine and clinical psychology, only retaining autism spectrum diagnosis and it is application to learning enhancement in the classroom not mental health adjudication;
*Safety at larger schools by relocating police and sheriff substations on campus;
*Compliance with the 14th Amendment’s “birthright” citizenship provision which does not require government benefits to illegal aliens and their “non-citizen” children.
The 14th Amendment’s birthright citizenship provision does not apply to people here on vacation, Visas, the United Nation members, nor does it apply the children of illegal aliens. This provision, mutually agreed upon by all states of the North & the South at the conclusion of the Civil War, specifically targeted the children of freed slaves, no one else. This provision has stood all legal arguments through the Supreme Court since its enactment. It has just been ignored!
It is also consistent with criminal law ‘s “fruit of the poison tree” doctrine that any evidence obtained after a law is broken is inadmissible in court.
Adherence to the 14th amendment would end most illegal crossings because there would be no “free” handouts, nor automatic citizenship; it should also consider some sort of retroactivity provision. Enforcement of this amendment will end hundreds of billions in benefits expenditures by all levels of government through current entitlements, and most future illegal migration. Schools across the nation and in TN are inundated with massive numbers of illegal alien children requiring translators for hundreds of languages, millions in benefits and disruption of the education of our own kids.
Call Gov. Lee’s office! Tell him to drive over to Franklin and recruit DAVE RAMSEY Don’t let him “DOGE” this opportunity of a generation!

AMEN!!
I agree with most of this. But having asybstation on campus, although a good concept, fundamentally wouldn’t work well. During times where kids are dropped off and picked up, and also during lunch, as well, if a unit has to roll code to an incident, they’d have a hard time navigating through all that traffic.
