Whether early voting, or voting in person on November 8th, Tennesseans can call a toll-free number to report any issues that they find at the polls.
The Official Election Hotline is 1-877-850-4959. The hotline is available to answer questions about early voting or Election Day that voters may have.
In addition to the hotline, The Tennessee Secretary of State has a system in place to address voter fraud. Anyone who suspects voter fraud can text ‘TN’ to 45995 to make a report.
This link to the state’s website also has more election information and answers to Frequently Asked Questions.
Tennesseans are also concerned about election integrity due to voting machines used in multiple counties in the state.
Earlier this year, Tina Tobin, one of TN Liberty Network’s election integrity and voter fraud researchers wrote a letter on the vulnerabilities of MicroVote Infinity Direct Recording Electronic machines.
“Even a single vulnerability in a voting machine puts the entire process of having free and fair elections at risk, and MicroVote has been found to have multiple vulnerabilities that have plagued their machines for two decades,” wrote Tobin.
A non-partisan grassroots group in Hamilton county is also pushing to remove the machines in their county.
Voter turnout also remains an issue in the state. In the August 4th elections this year, only two counties recorded more than 50% voter turnout. One county had a measly 3.62% voter turnout in that election.
