Davidson County police have taken more illegal aliens off the streets in Tennessee on charges of DUI and repeated counts of aggravated assault.

30-year-old David Alexander Alexander-Alfaro was arrested on October 8. He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was booked on a $35,000 total bond. His current charges stem from two incidents: one occurring on July 5 and one on August 28.

Alexander-Alfaro has a history with the DSCO – he was arrested in December 2024 for domestic assault and public intoxication, but those charges were dismissed.  He was, however, charged for resisting arrest in relation to that incident. He also had a previously dismissed charge for possession/casual exchange in 2017.

Also arrested on October 8 was 29-year-old Kevin Mauro Lopez-Burrero. He was charged with driving under the influence (2nd offense), driving on a revoked license, and violation of probation. The violation of probation stems from a previous DUI charge from January 2025. He was booked on a $7,000 bond.

Police also arrested 30-year-old Baldemar Guatzin on October 10. Guatzin was charged with driving under the influence and driving without a license. He was booked on a $1500 bond.

Inmate records show that all of these individuals now have an immigrant hold. They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. An ICE hold means these individuals are most likely in this country illegally.
