An Illegal Alien Has Been Charged In Knox County After Killing A Motorcyclist In A Wrong-Way Crash On I-640 West Sunday Night While Other Illegals Were Busted In Knox & Davidson Counties On A Host Of Other Charges.

An illegal alien has been charged in Knox County after killing a motorcyclist in a wrong-way crash on I-640 West Sunday night.

According to police reports, 27-year-old Eric Ramon Alcantara-Guevara crashed into the motorcycle as it was traveling westbound. Alcantara-Guevara allegedly hit a guardrail on the interstate and was going in the wrong direction when the crash occurred around 7:15 PM.
The driver of the motorcycle was thrown and died on the scene. Alcantara-Guevara and the other occupant of the vehicle fled the scene, but officers were able to locate them at an address on Old Broadway.
Alcantara-Guevara was charged with driving under the influence (first offense), vehicular homicide, and leaving the scene of an accident knowing death resulted. He was booked on a $125,000 bond.

In a separate incident, illegal alien 29-year-old Luis Fernando Avila Lino was also arrested on Sunday for driving without a license and failure to follow the financial responsibility law in an accident with bodily injury or death. He was booked on a $1000 bond.

Knox County also arrested 35-year-old Dayson Ramon Garcia Gonzalez on charges of aggravated domestic assault, vandalism (>$1000 but <$2500), and evading arrest. He was booked on a $10,000 bond.


Davidson County arrested several illegal aliens recently, including 21-year-old Karla Guadalupe Duron-Hernandez, who was arrested last month for robbery/carjacking, theft of vehicle $2500 or > but < $10000, and driver’s license required. She was booked on a $41,000 total bond.


Also arrested in Davidson County were the following individuals:
29-year-old Juan Carlos Pirir-Velasquez – arrested January 18
- Pirir-Velasquez was charged with driving under the influence, open container violation, and driver’s license required. He was booked on a $3500 bond.


19-year-old Moises Vazquez – arrested January 18
- Vazquez was charged with driving or moving an unregistered vehicle, assault/reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon (vehicle), evading arrest (motor vehicle), reckless driving, and driver’s license required. He was booked on a $15,000 bond.



40-year-old Andy Pablo Velasquez – arrested January 18
- Velasquez was charged with driving under the influence and driver’s license required. He was booked on a $3500 bond.


Inmate records show that all of these individuals currently have immigrant detainers and will remain in custody until released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
