Further proof the republican party has no interest in honest elections.
    *Abolish jungle primaries.
*All candidates for All elected positions must declare their political affiliation.
    *
Special interests backstabbing citizens again, and again.

Declaring “political affiliation” isn’t enough _ the Dems declare that they are Republicans so they can trick Repub voters.

And we as Tennessee conservatives must resolve to use the Republican primaries at every level of government, whenever the primaries are conducted, to move the Republican Party rightward until the Republican Party and every Republican officeholder becomes as reliably conservative as their Democratic counterparts are reliably leftist.

Anyone who voted to let that Dem run as a Repub should be fired and ridiculed. It is totally STUPID and only clueless bureaucrats would approve that!!!
And it diminishes the credibility of the Repub party – it is destroying the “brand” and credibility.
The State let a well-known Leftist run for School Board in Williamson as a Repub – that defrauded Repub voters who assume that anyone who runs as a Repub is a conservative.
    >> Leftists should NOT be allowed to belong to the GOP – that makes the GOP a joke. Surely no one disagrees with that. Would they let The Squad run as Republicans?

Please publish the names or all the Executive Committee who voted to let the Dem run as a Repub.

    >> There’s a simple solution > allow any 2 Bona Fide Repub members to file a petition requesting that anyone can be kicked out of the TN GOP. They would, of course, need to explain why. Then let the County GOP Board to make the decision NOT the State – the reason because people in the County know the people best and can make a good decision. The State doesn’t have to get involved.

If the State GOP keeps doing this, people will start to drop out, including me.

Kudos to WKRC. A political organization with no allegiance to its own bylaws is doomed to fail.

What criteria, or criterion, did TN GOP SEC use to make this misguided determination?

What does this say about the underlying values of those who made this decision?

LOL…..wE nEeD a ClOsEd PrImAry! So you can vote for the Lib candidates the TNGOP State Executive Committee feeds you. Or the out-of-district candidates like Richard Briggs (R-gerrymandered).

Why do we all need to pay for the Big Two to use public facilities and equipment to run their private club elections called “primaries”? It’s real simple….if you want to lock down your private club elections, stop using public funds to run them.

I tried to join the Republican party in Sumner county once and was refused. I have voted for Republicans for decades. I guess I was voting for the wrong Republicans.
    We need a new party.
