The Tennessee Conservative often utilizes polls to gauge where our readers stand on certain issues, and they have historically helped to amplify the conservative voice by providing useful insight and feedback. Until now.

On Wednesday, Brandon Lewis (founder of The Tennessee Conservative) posted a poll to X asking, “Jeremy Faison says TNGOP leadership has been GREAT at preventing Illegal Immigration in Tennessee – but I want to hear what you think! After reading the article in the comments detailing VOTES taken by leadership over the last 4 years, what’s your opinion?”

The referenced article is a comprehensive timeline of illegal immigration in TN that has served as a resource for tracking legislative responses, or lack thereof, to the surge of illegal immigration and its consequences across the state.

Three response categories to the poll were offered: Excellent Job!, Mediocre”, and “They’ve Made it Worse!”.

As results began accumulating, 95-99% of respondents were selecting They’ve Made it Worse!

Yet suddenly, during the dark of night, someone paid Serpclix, a third-party online traffic booster, to swing the poll in favor of GOP leadership.

The initial reported response statistics match previous similar poll and survey results on the topic, and another poll run the same day as the one above asked, “Tennessee Republican leadership says this isn’t happening, but do you believe that the Illegal Aliens are receiving free taxpayer education in Tennessee right now?”  The “Yes” option received 95.8% of the vote with almost 3,000 participants.

These results directly contradict the results of the first poll, despite being posted the same day, further indicating they were intentionally skewed.

In response, Lewis created another post exposing the falsely readjusted numbers, “This is what it looks like when TN Republican leadership pays a service to drive responses to an online Twitter poll because they hate the results. 1626 views & 1251 votes = 77% impossible voting rate. If you are going to cheat, cover your tracks better.”

It’s uncertain who actually paid Serpclix to swing the results, but it is clear someone was highly displeased with the initial results reflecting poor opinions of GOP leadership efforts.

In response to one of Lewis’ posts proposing illegal aliens are given a “friendly welcome” though excessive benefits, Rep. Jeremy Faison called Lewis a “charlatan” and stated, “No state leadership wants illegals draining state resources. TN will be assisting the Trump admin with deportation of illegals in our state. Thanks for trying.”

Though Faison might offer lip service to such extent the voting record of the legislature and survey data, coupled with citizen experiences, might beg to differ.

Additionally, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) just revealed that the hostile and violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua is active in “every major city across Tennessee” and is running human trafficking operations.

The Tennessee Conservative has reported extensively on the topic of illegal immigration and will continue to hold the General Assembly accountable for their role in allowing this unprecedented influx to bring strain and danger to Tennessee citizens.
